Cooper Girls Basketball Falls to Holy Angels
The Cooper girls basketball team lost for the first time in Tri-Metro Conference play this season, losing 36-32 to Holy Angels Tuesday night.
The Hawks held an 18-11 halftime lead but manager just 14 second-half points.
Bre Frazier led Cooper in scoring with nine points while Somah Kamara and Ziyarah Turner-Stensrud scored seven each.
The loss dropped Cooper to 12-3 overall this season.
Cooper, Holy Angels and DeLaSalle are all now tied for first place in the Tri-Metro with 5-1 league marks.
After a game at Bloomington Kennedy Wednesday, the Hawks host Visitation on Tuesday.
