Cooper Girls Basketball Beats DeLaSalle in Key Tri-Metro Game
The Cooper girls basketball team built a nine-point halftime lead and then played a strong second half to pull away for a 69-48 win over DeLaSalle.
The win gives the Hawks a season sweep of the Islanders.
Somah Kamara had 22 points and Bre Frazier 15 to lead the Hawks to the win.
Cooper is now tied with DeLaSalle for second place at 7-2 in Tri-Metro Conference games, one game behind leader Holy Angels.
