Cooper Football Falls to Holy Angels
The Cooper football team lost a back-and-forth battle to Holy Angels 35-29 Friday night.
The Stars scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to rally from a 29-20 deficit for the win.
Emmett Johnson scored both of those touchdowns, and rushed for 281 yards and five touchdowns in all for the Stars.
Camden Royal ran for 172 yards and a touchdown for Cooper.
Joe Russell threw for 170 yards and two TD’s for the Hawks.
Cooper dropped to 2-2 with the loss.
They host Bloomington Jefferson Friday.
