Cooper Boys Soccer Falls to New Prague
The Cooper boys soccer team scored first but ultimately fell 3-1 to New Prague Tuesday in New Hope.
New Prague joined the Metro West Conference this fall.
Sergio Tonche Alvarado ripped a long shot under the crossbar for Cooper to start the scoring nine minutes into the contest.
New Prague had the better of the play though, and that paid off with two goals in less than a minute from Jacob Lee and Satchel Johnson.
Sam Gardner added another goal for the Trojans as they earned their third win of the season.
The regular season wraps up this week in boys and girls soccer.
