Cooper Boys Soccer Falls to Kennedy
The Cooper boys soccer team faced a tough challenge against unbeaten Bloomington Kennedy Monday.
After giving up an early goal, the Hawks tied the game on a goal by Juan Diaz Jauregui on an assist by Gabriel Morales.
Kennedy took a 2-1 lead midway through the first half and went on to beat Cooper 7-1.
Marlon Seahorn, Kennedy’s career scoring leader, had four goals in the second half.
Manuel Lopez Medina had two goals for the Eagles.
Cooper is now 2-5 while Kennedy improved to 7-0.
