Cooper Boys Basketball Wins Overtime Thriller
The Cooper boys basketball team won an overtime thriller over Burnsville 106-103 Thursday.
The points came fast and furious all night. Cooper had a 48-44 halftime lead.
Burnsville rallied in the second half and tied it up, with a possible game-winner at the buzzer for Cooper coming too late.
Burnsville built a six-point lead in overtime but Cooper had the last rally.
Tyson Dallas scored 23 points for Cooper, with Davion Evans scoring 20 and Damarri Bankhead 19.
Daniel Rosenber had 29 for Burnsville, with Ibrahim El-Amin adding 25 and Yarin Alexander 24.
Cooper is now 3-2 this season.
