Cooper Boys Basketball Routs Kennedy to End Regular Season
The Cooper boys basketball team jumped out to an 8-0 lead to start the game and never looked back in a 76-37 win over Bloomington Kennedy Monday.
David Osayameh had 23 points to lead the Hawks’ balanced attack.
It was the last regular season game in this COVID-19 shortened season for Cooper.
They finished the regular season with a 14-2 mark.
They tied Chaska for the Metro West Conference title. Each team was 11-1 in conference play after they split their two meetings.
Cooper now gets set for the tough Section 6AAAA tournament, where they were runnerup last season.
