Cooper Boys Basketball Rallies To Beat Richfield
The Cooper boys basketball team was down by double-digits midway through the second half, but rallied to defeat Richfield 91-81.
Cooper’s full-court press defense led to several steals that turned into fast-break points for the Hawks.
Cooper was led in scoring by Chance Wicks, who put up 26 points. Rylan McPipe (15 points), Jeramiah Henderson (14 points), and Tae’shawn Cumber-Ficken (10 points) also hit double figures in the scoring column.
The Hawks were able to withstand CJ Armstrong’s 38 points for the Spartans.
With the win, Cooper is now 4-5 on the season.
