Cooper Boys Basketball Loses Season Opener
The Cooper boys basketball team lost its season opener 83-78 to Hiawatha Collegiate Friday.
Hiawatha built a double-figure lead in the first half and were up 45-38 at halftime.
Cooper came out strong in the second half and grabbed the lead. Hiawatha had the last run though and picked up the win to improve to 3-1.
Kam’Ron Solomon had 30 points and Domonick Watkins 19 to lead Hiawatha.
Chance Wicks scored 25 points to lead Cooper.
