Cooper Boys Basketball Falls to Minneapolis South
The Cooper boys basketball team had a close battle but lost their season opener to Minneapolis South 57-53 Friday.
The Hawks had a two-point halftime lead in a game that was close throughout.
After South led for much of the second half, Cooper took a brief lead before the Tigers closed strong to earn the win.
Cooper has a busy week ahead, with four games scheduled.
That includes a Saturday afternoon game against Robbinsdale district rival Armstrong that you can see live on CCX.
