Cooper Boys Basketball Falls to Holy Angels
The Cooper boys basketball team saw its three-game winning streak come to an end in a 62-50 loss to Holy Angels in a Tri-Metro Conference game Tuesday.
The Stars jumped out to an early 15-4 lead before Cooper battled back to within 32-26 at halftime.
The Hawks surged early in the second half and took the lead 34-33, but Holy Angels pulled away late to win it.
Blake Nixon (32 points) and Arjun Jain (16) did most of the scoring for Holy Angels.
Jahnial Jones had 13 points to lead Cooper.
The Hawks fell to 4-8 overall and 4-3 in Tri-Metro games.
