Cooper Boys Basketball Edges Chaska
Cooper’s boys basketball team rallied in the second half to beat Chaska 56-54.
The Hawks, who trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half, won their eighth straight game.
Cooper avenged a season-opening loss to Chaska and the teams are now tied for first place in the Metro West Conference.
Broderick Powell scored 17 points to lead Cooper in scoring with David Osayahmeh adding 11 and Tyson Dallas 10.
Luke Strazzanti scored 19 points to lead Chaska.
Cooper’s next three games are on the road including Friday night at Chanhassen.
