Defending champion Wayzata placed fourth at the 2023 Minnesota State High School League Clay Target shooting tournament Friday.

United South Central won the team title with a score of 484, with Fairmont, Roseau and Wayzata at 482.

Xena Heimbecher of Wayzata tied for second among female shooters.
