Champlin Park Wrestling Takes a Thriller from Park Center
The Champlin Park wrestling team won in the most exciting way possible, getting a pin from heavyweight Brandon Finley to edge Park Center 39-32.
The match was part of a quad meet hosted by Champlin Park.
The Rebels built a 33-14 lead, only to see the Pirates get three straight pins at 172, 189, and 215 pounds to pull within 33-32.
Park Center heavyweight Alex Dolo built a big lead and was one takedown away from ending the match by technical fall and giving the Pirates the win, but instead Finley caught him shooting in and eventually got the fall as the Rebels celebrated the victory.
