Champlin Park Volleyball Wins in Five Sets in State Semifinals
The Champlin Park volleyball team looked to be in trouble in the state class AAAA semifinals against East Ridge before rallying to win in five sets.
The Rebels won 25-16, 20-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-12 over the Raptors.
Champlin Park is the number two seed for the tournament, while East Ridge is third.
Carly Gilk had 38 kills and Kathryn Adler 22 for the Rebels, who are now 30-3.
Champlin Park takes on top seed Lakeville South for the class AAAA title Saturday night at Xcel Center in St. Paul.
