Champlin Park Sweeps Anoka in State Volleyball Tournament Quarterfinal
The second-ranked Champlin Park volleyball team swept district and conference rival Anoka Wednesday in the quarterfinal round of the state Class AAAA volleyball tournament.
The Rebels beat the Tornadoes 25-19, 25-17 and 25-23.
Minnesota Volleyball Player of the Year Carly Gilk led the Rebels with 21 kills while Kathryn Adler added 12 and Rylee Inman 10.
Anoka’s Hayden Reeder had 22 kills to lead the Tornadoes.
