Champlin Park Legion Baseball Beats Blaine in Sub-State Tournament
After a loss to top seed Totino-Grace, the Champlin Park American Legion baseball team bounced back with a 6-2 win over Blaine to stay alive in the Sub-State 8 tournament.
Each team scored a run on errors in the first inning.
Champlin Park put together a three-run fourth to build a 4-1 lead, then tacked on two more runs in the sixth.
The Rebels are facing Princeton Friday afternoon in another elimination game.
