Champlin Park Gymnastics Team Vaults to Win over Rogers
The Champlin Park gymnastics team remained unbeaten on the season with a dual meet win over Rogers, 135.925 to 127.6.
The Rebels’ Jordan Smith won the All-Around competition while her teammate Tashina Beyioku-Alase won both the vault and the floor exercise.
Champlin Park’s Katie Johnson won the bars and beam.
Hannah Scharber was the top all-arounder for the Royals.
Following their final regular season meets both teams will compete in the Section 5AA meet on March 18 at Champlin Park High School, which is also hosting the state meet this year.
