Champlin Park Girls Swimming Starts Strong
The Champlin Park girls swimming and diving team is off to a strong start this fall.
The Rebels won their first two dual meets, beating Spring Lake Park and Anoka.
Though they graduated a number of talented seniors from last season head coach Joe Thiel likes the talent in the incoming freshman class, mixed with a number of upperclassmen.
School record holder and sprinter Heather Johnson plus 2018 state relay entrants Annika Gustafson and Malia Johnson all return.
The Rebels swim in the Edina Invitational on Saturday.
