Champlin Park Girls Soccer Gets 3-1 Playoff Win Over Osseo
The Champlin Park girls soccer team opened up postseason play with a 3-1 win over Osseo in the section 5AAA quarterfinals.
The Rebels scored first in the 10th minute on a goal from Olivia Mehl. Osseo responded two minutes later on a header from Abby Paloranta. Right before the half, Champlin Park scored another goal, this time from sophomore Ava Madson. The Rebels also got another score in the second half courtesy of Hayden Kalla.
Champlin Park moves on to the section 5AAA semifinals, where they will face Maple Grove on Thursday. Osseo ends its season with a 2-11-4 record.
