Champlin Park Girls Soccer Earns First State Berth
The Champlin Park girls soccer team earned its first ever state tournament berth.
They beat Roseville 1-0 in the Section 5AA championship game.
The Rebels broke a scoreless tie with 1:42 left in regulation as Megan Carlson scored with an assist by Maille Mathis.
Champlin Park is undefeated this season and ranked number one in class AA.
They’ll find out this weekend where they are seeded for the state tournament.
