Champlin Park Girls Basketball Routs Osseo in Playoff Opener
The Champlin Park girls basketball team surged to a big halftime lead and went on to beat Osseo 70-48 in the Section 5AAAA quarterfinals Tuesday.
The Rebels trailed early 8-4 but held Osseo to just five more points in the first half to lead 31-13 at the break.
Second seed Champlin Park now hosts third seed Mounds View in the semifinals Friday.
Mounds View eliminated Park Center in the quarterfinals.
