Champlin Park Girls Basketball Beats Osseo in 5AAAA
The Champlin Park girls’ basketball team outscored Osseo 48-23 in the second half to secure a 72-45 win the quarterfinals of the Section 5AAAA tournament.
Ashlee Burchette scored 20 points, Ava Holman 11, and Natalia Tolentino 10 for the Rebels, who led just 24-22 at halftime.
Jaelyn Choi netted 16 points and Taydem Miller 10 for Osseo. The Orioles finish the season with a 7-19 record.
The Rebels (11-14) play at second-seeded Roseville in the section semifinals on Wednesday.
Top-seed Maple Grove hosts Mounds View in the other semifinal.
