Champlin Park Girls Basketball Beats Mounds View in 5AAAA
The Champlin Park girls basketball team beat Mounds View 63-50 Thursday night in the quarterfinal round of the Section 5AAAA tournament.
Alicia Bates scored 16 points and Mikaelah Counce 13 to lead the Rebels.
Champlin Park (11-15) now advances to Tuesday’s semifinals and a game with top-seeded Maple Grove.
