Champlin Park Eliminates Roseville in 5AAAA Basketball
Jacob Johnson scored 16 points to lead the Champlin Park boys basketball team to a 59-38 win over Roseville in the Section 5AAAA boys basketball semifinals Tuesday night.
After trailing 6-0 in the game’s opening minutes the Rebels (23-5) used a 21-4 scoring run to help build a 33-17 halftime lead. Champlin Park went 16-21 from the free throw line in the first half as the Raiders got into foul trouble.
The Rebels now meet top-seeded Park Center in the section final Friday night at Rogers High School.
