Champlin Park Eliminates Park Center in 5AAA Boys Soccer
Carter Havelak scored three first-half goals lead the Champlin Park boys’ soccer team to a 5-1 win over Park Center in the Section 5AAA tournament semifinals.
Havelak’s three goals were part of a four-goal outburst for the Rebels in the first 18 minutes of the match.
Champlin Park (11-4-1) plays at top-seeded Maple Grove (16-0-1) in the section final Tuesday night.
The Crimson beat the Rebels 2-1 when the teams played in the regular season.
