Champlin Park cruises past TG in girls Basketball
After not practicing Monday when after-school activities were cancelled in Anoka-Hennepin schools because of the snowstorm, it wouldn’t have been a surprise if the Champlin Park girls basketball team looked a little rusty Tuesday.
That wasn’t the case though, as the Rebels moved the ball quickly and got great shots early in their game against Totino-Grace.
Champlin Park raced out to leads of 18-5 and 26-7, ultimately leading the Eagles 48-18 after an impressive first half that saw six Rebels score between five and 11 points.
Champlin Park won 68-35 to improve to 14-2 heading into its big game Friday versus Centennial.
