Champlin Park-Coon Rapids Girls Hockey Using Virtual Workouts
The Champlin Park-Coon Rapids girls hockey team is eager to get back on the ice.
For now as high school sports in Minnesota are on a “pause” due to high COVID-19 numbers in the state, the team is using virtual workouts.
The optional sessions have included yoga, stickhandling drills, “chalk talks” about strategy, and just a chance to check in with players to see how they are doing.
Winter sports teams are hoping to begin in-person practice sessions December 21, if the current restrictions are lifted.
