Champlin Park/Coon Rapids Girls Hockey Skates Past Osseo/Park Center
The Champlin Park/Coon Rapids girls hockey team trailed until deep into the second period before rallying to beat upset-minded Osseo/Park Center 4-1.
Osseo/Park Center scored a powerplay goal on a great deflection by Ashlyn Hoffmann just under five minutes into the game.
The Stars held that 1-0 lead until CPCR scored twice in the second, with Sydney Burnevik and Tessa Boden scoring.
The Bluebirds, who outshot OPC 45-14, added two more goals in the third as Burnevik and Boden each scored again to make the final 4-1.
