Champlin Park Boys Soccer Pulls Away to Beat Osseo
The Champlin Park boys soccer team scored four times in the second half on the way to a 6-2 win over Osseo.
The Rebels grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Sylvester Doe and Leo Conneh before Osseo pulled within 2-1 late in the first half.
An Orioles player was tripped up and many players stopped, assuming a foul call was coming, but Osseo’s Abdullahi Ismail kept playing and scored to make it 2-1.
Champlin Park dominated the second half though, putting four goals up to erase any doubt.
Conneh had three goals and two assists to lead the way for the Rebels.
Champlin Park improved to 4-1-0 with the win.
Osseo dropped to 1-2-3.
