Champlin Park Boys Soccer Playing Well to Open the Season
It’s tough to beat the start the Champlin Park boys soccer team has had.
The Rebels are 3-0 entering Thursday’s game against Park Center, outscoring their opponents 10-0.
Their most impressive win was Tuesday, when the Rebels beat sixth-ranked Maple Grove 1-0.
The score was a little deceiving; Champlin Park generated a half dozen great scoring chances and mostly controlled play.
The Rebels would love to get a chance to contend for a section title this fall but with the COVID-19 pandemic there may not be any postseason.
So the Champlin Park guys are cherishing each time they get to take the field together.
