Champlin Park Boys Lacrosse Rallies for Playoff Win
The Champlin Park boys lacrosse team rallied for a playoff win, beating Anoka 9-8 in overtime.
The game was a first round match up in Section 7.
Anoka built a 7-2 lead in the third quarter before Champlin Park battled back.
Roy Johnson’s goal tied the game at 8-8 with just under two minutes left in regulation.
Johnson then scored the game winner for the Rebels in overtime.
Champlin Park now faces top seed Centennial in the section quarterfinals Thursday.
