Champlin Park Boys Hockey Starts Fast, Beats Duluth East
The Champlin Park boys hockey team scored four goals in the first period on the way to an 8-3 win over Duluth East.
The four goals all came in the first 6:18 as the Rebels stunned the Greyhounds for a quick 4-0 lead.
It was 4-1 after one period.
Duluth East did battle back to within 5-3 in the second period before the Rebels scored the last three.
Nolan Peterson had two goals and an assist and Tyler Trombley posted three assists for Champlin Park.
It’s the sixth win in a row for Champlin Park.
The Rebels are now 13-7-1.
