Champlin Park Boys Hockey On the Rise
The Champlin Park boys hockey team is enjoying a strong season.
The Rebels enter Thursday night with a 9-3-0 record.
They’ve had a solid program in the past, but aren’t known as a hockey power.
Champlin Park won 15 games with a young team last season, and it was a good lead-in to an even better 2022-23 season.
The Rebels are in one of the tougher stretches of their schedule. They lost to Centennial earlier this week, and have games against top 10 teams Rogers, Benilde, and Maple Grove coming up. That starts with Thursday’s game against Rogers, the team that knocked them out in the Section 5AA semifinals last season.
