Champlin Park Boys Hockey Hopes to Build on Season of Success
The Champlin Park boys hockey team advanced to a section final for the first time in a dozen years last season, losing 4-3 to Rogers in the Section 5AA championship.
Though they lost a lot of talent to graduation, the Rebels hope to build on last year’s 18-win season as they skate into the 2025-’26 campaign.
They’ll have to replace some top players like Brent Solomon, Nick Carlson, and Jax Warren, who graduated.
Captains Paul Pazandak, Max Peterson, Carson Anderson and Rhys George are among the key returners, along with goalie Tanner Wylie and sophomore Brody Holien.
The Rebels open the season at a Thanksgiving tournament in Woodbury November 28-29, where they’ll face Eagan and Woodbury.
