Champlin Park Boys Hockey Beats Mounds View in 5AA
The Champlin Park boys hockey team won its section tournament quarterfinal round game Thursday, skating past Mounds View 4-1.
Ethan Mus scored twice for the Rebels including one goal on a penalty shot while Evan Williams scored the other two Champlin Park goals.
Grant Dean scored the lone goal for the Mustangs.
Champlin Park (15-10-1) plays top-seeded Rogers in the Section 5AA semifinals Saturday at 3:00 pm at Fogerty Arena in Blaine.
Maple Grove meet in the other semifinal Saturday at 7:00 pm at Fogerty.
