Champlin Park Boys Basketball Wins Shootout
The Champlin Park boys basketball team ended the regular season with a 98-90 win over Spring Lake Park.
The teams came out firing and kept up the scoring pace throughout.
Champlin Park scored 51 points in the first half to lead it 51-39.
They nearly matched that total in the second half on the way to their 17th win.
Francis Nwaokorie had 25 points to lead Champlin Park.
Blake Remme scored 34 for the Panthers.
Champlin Park is the number three seed behind Park Center and Spring Lake Park for the Section 5AAAA tournament.
The Rebels host Osseo in the quarterfinals.
