Champlin Park Boys Basketball Pulls Away from Osseo for NWSC Win
The Champlin Park boys basketball team scored its eighth win of the season Monday with a 73-57 win at home against Osseo.
Trailing 9-6 early in the game, the Rebels used a 15-0 scoring run to go ahead for good.
Down 38-20 at halftime, the Orioles rallied to within seven points in the second half but got no closer.
Preston Thielke led the Rebels in scoring with 21 points. Tyler Wagner added 19 and Mo Jalloh 12.
Quincy Johnson scored 17 points to lead the Orioles with Isaac Johnson scoring 11.
Champlin Park is now 8-3 overall, 5-1 in the Northwest Suburban Conference. Osseo drops to 5-7, 2-2 in the NWSC.
