Champlin Park Boys Basketball Holds off Park Center to Stay Unbeaten
The top-ranked Champlin Park boys basketball team survived another tough test, beating Park Center 72-66 Thursday.
It’s the second close win of the season for the Rebels over the Pirates.
Francis Nwaokorie scored 25 points to lead the Rebels, with Dylan Gichaba adding 13 and Josh Strong 12.
Braeden Carrington scored 18 points to lead Park Center.
Champlin Park finished the regular season with an 18-0 record.
Both teams will compete in the Section 5AAAA tournament starting in the week ahead.
