Champlin Park Boys Basketball Advances
The Champlin Park boys basketball team advanced in the playoffs with a win over Mounds View.
The Rebels beat the Mustangs 52-35 in a Section 5AAAA quarterfinal game.
Seventh seed Mounds View kept the game low scoring and hung in the game most of the way.
Jacob Johnson had 14 and Alex John 12 to lead a balanced attack for second seed Champlin Park.
The Rebels meet Roseville in the semifinals Tuesday at Coon Rapids High School.
