Champlin Park Beats Osseo to Advance to 5AAAA Basketball Final
The Champlin Park boys basketball team advanced to the Section 5AAAA boys basketball championship game with a 54-42 win over Osseo.
The Rebels (20-0) trailed by 10 points at halftime but outscored the Orioles 37-15 in the second half.
Josh Strong scored 18 points and Francis Nwaokorie scored 17 for the Rebels.
Donald Ferguson scored 11 points to lead the Orioles in scoring. Osseo finishes the season with an 11-9 record.
Champlin Park hosts Park Center for the section title Thursday night.
