Champlin American Legion Blanks Maple Grove
The Champlin American Legion baseball team blanked Maple Grove 2-0 Tuesday in North Hennepin League action.
Jack Harris and Clayton Caswell combined on a one-hit shutout for Champlin.
Owen Dylong and Sam Berg delivered run-scoring hits in the first and fifth innings respectively for the game’s only runs.
Champlin improved its season record to 8-1 with the win. Maple Grove is now 10-2.
