CCX Sports Spotlight: Tian Chatman and Dothan Ijadimbola, Totino-Grace Boys Basketball
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight John Jacobson profiles Totino-Grace boys basketball players Tian Chatman and Dothan Ijadimbola.
The two seniors are four-year varsity players and three-year starters for the Eagles.
Chatman is averaging 17.7 points per game and Ijadimbola 16.8 for the 24-2 Eagles, the top seed for next week’s Class AAA tournament.
Tian would like to play college basketball next year but has not committed while Dothan has signed with Drake.
Totino-Grace won state titles during the teammates’ freshman and sophomore seasons but fell short last year, losing to state champion Alexandria in the semifinals.
The Eagles are the number one seed in the AAA tournament and face Minneapolis South in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 10:00 am at Williams Arena.
