Seth caught 8 touchdown passes as a wide receiver/defensive back this fall for the Falcons, who qualified for the state playoffs for a second straight season.
He considered not playing basketball this winter as he intends to play football in college, but decided he might regret not playing his senior season.
Seth surpassed 1,000 career points during a game against Elk River last week.
He missed the early part of the basketball season after getting injured in Armstrong’s state quarterfinal game in football, but is averaging 19 points per game since returning.
Seth is the fourth Newbern to play basketball and other sports in Robbinsdale District 281, joining older brothers Melvin, Beijan, and Peyton.
He is considering offers to play college football and has made a few visits.
Armstrong’s boys basketball team wraps up the regular season this coming week with road games against Cretin-Derham Hall and Bloomington Kennedy.
