CCX Sports Spotlight: Sasha Arne and Izzy Hayden
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight John Jacobson profiles Wayzata gymnasts Sasha Arne and Izzy Hayden.
The seniors are the two best gymnasts for a deep and talented Trojans’ team and have been teammates since starting club gymnastics together at the age of 7.
Even with their individual and team success this season and in their careers, neither will continue in gymnastics in college. Instead both will focus on academics.
Wayzata is the favorite to win the Section 6AA meet February 12th and will be one of the favorites at state the following weekend.
