CCX Sports Spotlight: Max Johnson, Maple Grove Wrestling
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, Jason Melillo profiles Maple Grove wrestler Max Johnson.
The senior is one of the state’s best at 145 pounds and finished third at 138 pounds in last year’s state tournament.
Johnson just notched his 150th career win last week and has a chance to become the program’s all-time leading wins leader by season’s end.
Johnson was also a starting outside linebacker this past fall for Maple Grove’s 13-0 state championship football team.
