CCX Sports Spotlight: Maple Grove Girls Basketball Trio
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight segment John Jacobson profiles Maple Grove High School seniors and basketball teammates Kylie Baranick, Izzy Brant, and Jordyn Lamker.
The trio have played basketball together since third grade. This year the Crimson are 3-0 with Lamker becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer last week.
Maple Grove won section titles in 2018 and 2019, the girls’ freshman and sophomore years.
Next year Lamker will play basketball at the University of St. Thomas while Brant will attend St. Thomas but not play basketball. Baranick will play college basketball next season at Gustavus.
