CCX Sports Spotlight: Maddie Gullickson, Wayzata Cross Country and Track
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, John Jacobson profiles Wayzata senior runner Maddie Gullickson.
Gullickson has been part of the last three state cross country championship teams at Wayzata and has four first place individual state titles in track and field.
After a runner-up finish in last year’s state race, Maddie hopes to add an individual state cross country title to her name this year.
The Trojans are the top-ranked team in the state and run in the Swain Invitational in Duluth next weekend.
