CCX Sports Spotlight: Liv McGill, Hopkins Girls Basketball
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, Chaz Mootz profiles Hopkins girls basketball point guard Liv McGill.
The senior is averaging 22 points per game for the Royals, who are currently 19-2 and ranked #1 in the state in Class AAAA.
McGill committed to the University of Florida last March and will play under Gators head coach and former Breck guard Kelly Rae Finley.
McGill is Florida’s highest-ever ranked recruit in program history.
On January 28th, McGill was named a McDonald’s All-American, becoming just the ninth Minnesotan and fourth Royal to be named a McDonald’s All-American.
