CCX Sports Spotlight: Goetsch Sisters, Maple Grove Girls Lacrosse
Our CCX Sports Spotlight shines on twin sisters Brigit and Becky Goetsch of the Maple Grove girls lacrosse team.
Goalie Brigit and midfielder Becky helped lead the Crimson to the Northwest Suburban Conference title this spring.
Becky had 39 goals in the regular season, while Brigit allowed just under 4.5 goals and posted two shutouts.
Maple Grove is the top seed for the Section 8 tournament and will open play Thursday in the quarterfinals.
Brigit and Becky will go their separate ways for college.
Brigit will play lacrosse at Regis University in Colorado, while Becky will play for Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
